The Ras Al Khaimah casino forms part of the Wynn Al Marjan Island resort, which remained closed to the public as of 10 August 2026. Wynn's latest published schedule puts the welcome of its first guests in September 2027.
Use the dates below to distinguish finished work from announced plans. Wynn may revise forward-looking dates or operational information; each entry carries the date of its latest available official reference.
| Item | Confirmed status | Reference date |
|---|---|---|
| Resort status | Under construction and not open for visits | 10 August 2026 |
| Opening date | September 2027 | Wynn results, 4 August 2026 |
| Licence | Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan, is listed by GCGRA | Current GCGRA register |
| Tower | 70 floors, with a final planned height of 352 metres above sea level | Current resort website |
| Accommodation inventory | All 1,530 units structurally complete | 2 February 2026 |
| Gaming area | 225,000 sq ft, about 20,900 sqm | Wynn 2025 annual filing, March 2026 |
Construction progress does not provide access to guest rooms, dining venues or gaming. Wynn currently invites people to register for email updates, a step that gives neither a reservation nor an entry pass.
This will be Wynn's debut integrated resort in the Middle East and North Africa; its development partners call it the first of its kind in the UAE. The single site is planned to bring together lodging, a licensed gaming venue, restaurants, shows, shops, a spa, shoreline, marina and conference facilities.
Facing the Arabian Gulf, the development occupies more than 60 hectares on Ras Al Khaimah's Al Marjan Island. Wynn Resorts-related entities, Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding are involved in the joint venture. The GCGRA gaming register names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC as the licensed entity.
Calling it an integrated resort reflects the wider mix of planned facilities, rather than a casino operating beside a hotel. Public information currently gives more detail on stays, food, the beach, events and shows; Wynn has yet to outline the games themselves.
Wynn's second-quarter results, released on 4 August 2026, say guests are expected from September 2027. That month is the newest specific schedule and replaces older references to 2027 generally, its first quarter or spring.
Earlier investor material pointed to the first quarter of 2027. In May 2026 Wynn disclosed a modest delay but did not yet give its length; the August results later set out September 2027 as the revised guidance.
The date comes from Wynn itself, although it is still a projection while construction and fit-out continue. Before committing to non-refundable travel, check the resort's official site and the company's latest investor notices.
Read these announcements chronologically to see how the project has advanced and which opening estimate is newest. The Ras Al Khaimah casino has progressed from an initial concept to a licensed development site with a stated month for welcoming guests.
| Date | Milestone | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 25 January 2022 | Joint project announced for Al Marjan Island | The concept began with preliminary scope and timing |
| 4 October 2024 | Wynn announced receipt of the commercial gaming facility operator licence | The project became the UAE's first licensed commercial gaming facility |
| 25 November 2025 | A site ceremony marked the 70-floor hotel tower reaching its top | The main tower hit a visible construction milestone |
| December 2025 | Wynn's later updates recorded structural concrete completion | Work shifted further into the crown, facade and interior phases |
| 2 February 2026 | Facade reached 83%, all accommodation units were structurally complete and Wynn Bridge reached 48% | This remains the latest detailed construction percentage release |
| 11 March 2026 | Construction resumed after a short pause | This was a status update, not an opening or cancellation notice |
| 29 June 2026 | Wynn announced an original theatre production with Punchdrunk | The opening entertainment programme gained a confirmed headline show |
| 15 July 2026 | Wynn's investor presentation showed extensive interior work in progress | The latest visual snapshot confirmed the fit-out phase was active |
| 4 August 2026 | September 2027 was named for opening the doors | This is the current official date to use for planning |
Wynn's project story places the ceremony for the 70-floor tower on 25 November 2025. Subsequent company reporting records structural concrete completion in December 2025. The table preserves each as a separate event, following the dates used by those sources.
In its 2 February 2026 update, Wynn reported concrete structure finished up to the level 71 roof. Crews had installed 21,852 of 26,471 facade panels, or 83%. The resort site calls the building a 70-floor tower; both descriptions are retained as published. Interim height figures have varied, while the final stated goal remains 352 metres above sea level once the spire is fitted.
Work on lifts and escalators was advancing alongside mechanical, electrical and finishing activity in guest accommodation. The low-rise buildings had reached 99% for combined concrete and structural steel. That figure describes construction progress, not readiness for occupancy.
Wynn Bridge, measuring 548 metres, is intended to link Wynn Boulevard with roads E311 and E611. By 2 February 2026 it had reached 48% completion: piling was done and pile caps for nine of its ten columns were in place. Wynn's target at that point was completion in late 2026.
The August results described rapid construction progress; Wynn's second-quarter presentation, dated 15 July 2026, showed substantial interior work. Neither document refreshed the facade or bridge percentages. Accordingly, the figures above remain tied to February rather than being extrapolated.
The 2025 annual filing that Wynn submitted in March 2026 gives the gaming floor as 225,000 sq ft, equivalent to roughly 20,900 sqm. This guide follows that latest figure published directly by the company.
Many earlier property reports and news stories quote approximately 18,500 sqm, and that estimate still appears in search results. Wynn has not explained whether it describes another area. We therefore identify it as an older estimate rather than combining it with the newer filing.
| Measure | Figure used | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Gaming area | 225,000 sq ft, about 20,900 sqm | Latest figure in Wynn's annual filing |
| Older figure still repeated online | About us 18,500 sqm | Legacy estimate, not the current lead figure |
| Development site | More than 60 hectares | The whole integrated resort, not only the gaming floor |
| Hotel tower | 70 floors | Current guest-facing description |
| Structure in the February update | 299 metres through the level 71 roof | A dated construction measurement, not final height |
| Planned height with spire | 352 metres above sea level | Final architectural target on the resort website |
A measurement of floor space cannot tell visitors how many tables or slot machines there will be, which games are planned, or how rooms will be allocated. As of 10 August 2026 Wynn had released none of those specifics; look for a later operator announcement before relying on an inventory.
Wynn reported in February that the structure for each of its 1,530 places to stay was complete, although interior work continued. The figures below include apartments, townhomes and estates within the overall count.
| Category | Number | Published description |
|---|---|---|
| Resort rooms | 1,217 | Rooms and suites in the main Resort Tower |
| Enclave suites | 297 | A hotel within a hotel on the upper floors |
| Royal Apartments | 2 | Two apartments at the top of the tower |
| Garden Townhomes | 4 | Standalone garden accommodation in the resort plan |
| Marina Estates | 10 | Residences beside the marina |
| Total | 1,530 | Current announced guest inventory |
Enclave describes a hotel-within-the-hotel on upper levels, served by a dedicated arrival area, entrance and lifts. It is planned around suites and a distinct service setting. Wynn has not yet provided prices, packages or a date for reservations.
Some past Wynn announcements gave 1,542 rooms, a number competitors continue to cite. Current resort material and the February 2026 building update break the guest inventory into categories totalling 1,530, which is the count used here.
Wynn's website lists 22 restaurants, bars and lounges, as well as a beach club operating during the day. Named concepts include Alain Ducasse's French-American steakhouse and another Delilah supper club. No restaurant reservation service was open at the time of this update.
Wynn's 29 June 2026 announcement confirmed a new Punchdrunk show for the resort's opening programme. The planned format offers a conventional seated show upstairs or an immersive, moving experience downstairs and backstage. Performance dates and ticket prices are still to come.
A shopping parterre with natural light is planned for luxury retailers, but a complete tenant list is not available. Art is intended for guest rooms and shared areas. Announced pieces include Jeff Koons' 11-metre Tulips, alongside historic and modern works by artists from the region and abroad.
Designs call for a 420-metre private stretch of white sand and a deep-water marina intended for large yachts. A beach club is planned for daytime use. Wynn has yet to explain whether non-hotel guests can visit or buy day access.
The resort's published amenities comprise 12 pools, cabanas, landscaped grounds, a five-star spa, a salon and a gym. Wynn has not stated treatment costs, operating hours or pool entry terms, so those expenses cannot yet be estimated reliably.
A kids' club and outdoor activities appear in the official amenities, indicating family facilities beyond gaming. The eligible age range, charges and supervision policy are unpublished. Families should check the eventual guest rules before arranging childcare.
The resort assigns 7,708 sqm to Coral Court, its venue for meetings and celebrations. Plans provide six flexible meeting rooms, individual salons for brides and grooms, plus private prayer rooms for both women and men.
Overlooking the marina, the column-free Grand Ballroom spans 2,633 sqm. Its footprint is useful when comparing venues, but the guest capacity depends on the layout, including tables, stage, access lanes and technical equipment.
As at 10 August 2026, Wynn had shared no event packages, rates or minimum spend. When enquiries open, ask for a documented capacity layout and pricing that covers catering, production, accessibility and cancellation. Floor size alone is not a sound attendance estimate.
Al Marjan Island sits in Ras Al Khaimah, separate from Dubai. Wynn estimates a drive of about 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. A company financing announcement in 2025 put Dubai International Airport at around 50 minutes away.
| Starting point or route | Official information | Planning decision |
|---|---|---|
| Ras Al Khaimah International Airport | About us 15 minutes by car on the resort website | Review the journey time on arrival day because traffic changes |
| Dubai International Airport | About us 50 minutes in Wynn's 2025 release, with the resort under 50 miles away | Add baggage and traffic time rather than treating the estimate as a guarantee |
| Wynn Bridge | Planned link through Wynn Boulevard to E311 and E611 | Late 2026 was the completion target, so verify that the route is open |
| Resort shuttle | No operating timetable or fare published | Do not plan around a service the operator hasn't announced |
| Parking and valet | Final operating details not published | Review arrival instructions when reservations open |
The planned 548-metre Wynn Bridge should provide a more direct road connection. The most detailed update still treated it as an active build, however. Confirm its completion with Wynn or current route information before relying on the crossing.
After making a reservation, check which entrance serves your destination: the hotel, marina and events venue may have separate arrival points. Build in extra time, and only pay for a transfer confirmed in writing.
Under land-based gaming facilities, the GCGRA register names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, which trades as Wynn Al Marjan. Wynn reported on 4 October 2024 that the project company had been granted the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
The authority's listing ties its licence to this particular land-based venue and company. The same register places UAE Lottery operator The Game LLC in a separate category. Upon opening, Wynn Al Marjan is expected to be the Gulf Cooperation Council's first licensed casino. Our UAE gambling laws article covers the wider rules.
Wynn still needs to set out how age checks, identification, admission, responsible gaming and complaints will work on its gaming floor. Rules from another Wynn location should not be assumed to apply here unless the operator confirms them.
Plans can evolve as opening approaches. The list below separates matters Wynn has yet to disclose from confirmed facts, helping readers avoid mistaking a mailing-list form, concept rendering or reseller claim for an actual service or booking.
| Detail | Status on 10 August 2026 | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel bookings and room rates | Reservation date and prices not announced | Join official updates and wait for Wynn's booking engine |
| Restaurant reservations | Not open on Wynn's dining page | Do not pay an unverified intermediary for a table |
| Casino game list | Table, machine and title counts not published | Wait for the operator's gaming information |
| Betting limits | Minimum and maximum stakes not published | Do not substitute limits from Wynn Las Vegas |
| Age, ID and admission charges | Final Wynn conditions not published | Review Wynn and GCGRA before travelling |
| Dress code and opening hours | Not published | Review the guest guide when it appears |
| Shuttle, parking and valet | No operating timetable or pricing published | Request confirmation with the hotel booking |
| Theatre tickets | Interest registration available, schedule and prices incomplete | Do not treat registration as a ticket |
Visitors can submit an email and select topics to receive Wynn news. Registration alone does not hold accommodation, dining or theatre tickets, nor establish a rate or queue position. Those require a separate confirmation once bookings are available.
Check resort announcements for amenities, the GCGRA register for the licence and Wynn's latest investor release for timing. Treat information missing from these channels as not yet announced; another property's terms do not fill the gap.
This guide is intended for people aged 18 and older. Under GCGRA advertising standards, anyone under 21 is underage for commercial gaming, except lottery. Wynn's final gaming-floor ID and entry policy was not available at publication, so confirm requirements before travel; a hotel stay may not grant access to every facility.
For illustration only, imagine setting aside 800 United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) for a day. Keep AED 500 for travel, meals and unexpected costs, and cap any gaming spend at AED 300, whatever happens during play. This is an example, not a Wynn tariff.
Decide in advance how much you can spend and when you will stop. Leave other cards and funds out of reach. Once either boundary is met, end the session; don't dip into reserves or chase what you lost.
Take a break and seek support if gambling brings secrecy about money, borrowing, distress, or problems at work or with people close to you. Our responsible gambling guide outlines warning signs, ways to stop and sources of help.
The responses reflect official material checked on 10 August 2026. Revisit the schedule and entry requirements when bookings become available, since the operator may update its plans.
No. Building work continues. On 4 August 2026, Wynn said it expects to welcome guests in September 2027.
September 2027 is Wynn's latest published target. It was stated in the company's second-quarter results dated 4 August 2026, superseding earlier references to the first quarter or spring of 2027.
Wynn Al Marjan is being built on Al Marjan Island, within Ras Al Khaimah emirate. It is not in Dubai. The resort estimates a 15-minute car journey from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
The 2025 annual filing gives a gaming area of 225,000 sq ft, around 20,900 sqm. Older coverage often cites about 18,500 sqm; this page follows the more recent company filing.
Wynn's announced inventory totals 1,530 units: 1,217 Resort rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and 10 Marina Estates.
The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) licensed Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, which operates under the Wynn Al Marjan name. Wynn announced on 4 October 2024 that it had received the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
As of 10 August 2026, Wynn had given no date for hotel reservations, and its dining page was not taking restaurant bookings. An email subscription holds no room and guarantees neither pricing nor priority.
No table-game catalogue, slot total or stake limits had been released by 10 August 2026. Check Wynn's own gaming and admission information when published; the terms at another Wynn property may differ.
Wynn estimates around 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport; its earlier estimate from Dubai International Airport was about 50 minutes. Traffic affects both trips, and the February 2026 update still showed Wynn Bridge being built.
For commercial gaming other than lottery, GCGRA advertising standards classify people below 21 as underage. Wynn had not shared its final gaming-floor identification or entry policy by 10 August 2026. Check the operator and GCGRA guidance before travelling.
